J. Walker Brickwork Ltd., are committed to providing a skilled workforce to ensure that a quality product is delivered safely to our clients in a timely and cost-effective manner.

• On average we have a workforce of 110 operatives

• J. Walker Brickwork are fully compliant with the Construction Skills Certificate scheme

• We have a programme of site trade talks given by the NHBC

• Quality checks are carried out by our supervisors to achieve NHBC standards and specification

• We can offer a brick cleaning service within our package if required

• Our operatives are trained in the use of abrasive wheels

• Several operatives hold licenses to drive mechanical handling plant which we use
on some of our projects

• We carry out quarterly bricklaying gang assessments for quality, cleanliness, reliability and safety in their methods of working

ï We are currently working towards Investors in People and CHAS accreditation

The health and safety of our workforce and other people who may be affected by our actions are of prime importance to J.Walker Brickwork and we therefore have an ongoing training programme which encourages the health and safety awareness of all employees.
